Poetry Reading and Book Signing: Donna Vorreyer

Join local author and HMS teacher Donna Vorreyer for a reading from her new poetry collection A House of Many Windows. The reading will be followed by time for questions (about the book itself or poetry & publishing in general) and a book signing.

Daddy Day – Breakfast Bonanza

Dads, drop in with the kids for a bowl of their favorite breakfast cereal (or a donut!), and Library staff will help you all make your own creations with more cereal – fruity loop sculptures, a picture of your pet with flakes and raisins – you decide!! No registration required.

Adult Services Librarian and gadget guru Mike Oetting discusses what to expect after canceling cable. He’ll talk about how devices like the Apple TV and Roku set top boxes, in conjunction with Internet-based services like Hulu and Netflix, can help to fill the television content vacuum.
