Hinsdale Public Library loves books and
would like to make you a part of its reading family.

Come to the Youth Services Department
during the month of your 1st, 3rd or 6th birthday
and receive a backpack filled with wonderful gifts.
The backpack is designed specifically to encourage early
literacy at important stages of development. 
It contains reading and activity lists, a book,
and other items to stimulate learning,
enhance parent-child interaction, and foster a love of books.

This initiative is funded by the Harriet M. Goodall Bequest.
Miss Goodall was a longtime Hinsdale resident who
served our area children as Head of Youth Services at
Hinsdale Public Library from 1930-1963.
