School Services Librarian
Friendly, motivated, highly organized and creative individual wanted to build upon
an already strong menu of services to local schools. Aside from collection development and reference desk duties, the School Services Librarian will work directly with local MRC directors, plan and implement services to students, teachers and parents, and serve as the website coordinator for the department. This challenging position also involves assisting with library outreach activities, booktalking, and serving on staff committees. Strong Readers Advisory skills a plus. The successful candidate will have 1-3 years experience in a library or educational setting, knowledge of youth and young adult literature, an interest in working with all ages, and be eager to join this supportive 9-member team in a recently renovated building.
One evening per week and weekend rotation.
$38,000 DOQ. MLS/ALA or Teaching Certificate
