Become a Friend
The Friends of Hinsdale Library is a non-profit community organization dedicated to supporting the Hinsdale Public Library. We accomplish this primarily by promoting public involvement in the Library, by raising money through annual dues and donations and by assisting the Library with its used book sales.
We appreciate your additional support which helps us provide advocacy for the library and additional library programs and materials.
In 2010 the Friends are: continuing our annual funding of the Helen O’Neill Page Scholarship, an award given to a Library page who has exhibited exemplary public service; co-sponsoring a 1,500 book give-away at Hinsdale’s Independence Day Parade and purchasing new covers for the Youth Services bulletin boards.
