Your Own Book Discussion Groups
With more than 160,000 new titles being published each year, simply selecting which book to read next can be an overwhelming task. Our reference librarians are happy to make recommendations based on your reading tastes and preferences, whether you are a sci-fi enthusiast, romance buff, mystery addict or fan of award-winning literary fiction. We also can point you toward useful subject booklists, reference books, databases and Web sites that offer information and recommendations for bookworms of all stripes.

Aside from the thousands of books and audiobooks available at the Hinsdale Public Library, your HPL card allows you to request books and place reserves at libraries in the Metropolitan Library System and beyond. Reading groups interested in obtaining multiple copies of a title may call the reference desk at 630-986-1976 for options and guidelines.
