Art Collection

In keeping with the Library’s mission, the Library’s art program is part of an ongoing commitment to offer distinctive collections, programs, and exhibits that stimulate literary, cultural, and recreational interests. A Library art committee organizes rotating art exhibits, with coordinated programming, and is developing a permanent Library art collection. Pieces of this collections are pictured below.

Funding for the art program and collection comes from gifts to the Library and from the sale of donated, used books. For questions about the Library’s art program, please contact Executive Director Karen Kleckner Keefe 630-986-1976 or kkeefe@hinsdalelibrary.info.

The Library also presents quarterly Rotating Art Exhibits in the Main Floor Quiet Room.
